What skills and experience we're looking for
Skills:
Be willing to gain the knowledge of the learning processes and needs of specific children
Ability to work constructively as part of a team
Ability to relate to children and adults
Patience, composure and the ability to adapt
Experience:
Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs
Awareness of strategies that best support children with SEMH needs
Understanding/knowledge of the principles of behaviour management
An understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these
