35 hours per week, 8.30 a.m. - 4.00 p.m., term time only, including inset days
We are looking to appoint an Internal Alternative Provision Manager (IAP) to run and coordinate our PACE hub (Personalised Academic and Character Education hub) at The Dean Academy. The successful candidate must have a passion for working with young people to support them to embody our core values of “We are Respectful, We are Responsible, We are Ready”. You will have responsibility for establishing, supervising and coordinating the implementation and delivery of the school’s internal alternative provision programme, as a core part of the school’s behaviour management procedures, ultimately reducing the number of students excluded from school, supporting in the maintenance of a productive learning environment and facilitating successful access to education for all.
You will have the presence, experience and personality to manage, supervise, challenge and motivate students. This role forms a core part of the school’s pastoral team and you will need to work closely with students, other school colleagues and parents/carers. As an individual, you will be motivated, positive, have a flexible and calm approach and be able to respond to the needs of the individuals you are working with.
