IT TEAM LEADER - Highfield School

Grade: H9 + Fringe

Annual Salary: £39,881 progressing to £42,500 (Fringe allowance included)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks

Scholars’ Education Trust is seeking to recruit an experienced IT Team Leader with dynamic problem-solving capacity and the ability to work without supervision. Scholars’ Education Trust foci includes the use of Digital Technology in and out of the classroom developing an innovative educational experience.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Provide 2nd and 3rd line IT Support for Staff and Students including:

Line manage the onsite IT/Media Technician.

Manage the network infrastructure, servers, workstations, and software.

Ensure that clients’ ICT Support requests are dealt with effectively and within a timely manner.

Maintain and develop the ICT infrastructure and systems.

Develop and support the school’s use of technology within the classroom such as VR Headsets and 1-1 iPad scheme.

Advise on strategic development of IT service.

Ensure the Teaching and Learning needs of the staff and leadership are met.
