Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, including troubleshooting network and connectivity issues.
Install and configure computer systems and software applications.
To play an important role in the development of cloud-based technology and the Microsoft 365 eco-system.
Maintain and repair computer hardware, printers, projectors, and other technology equipment.
Keep an accurate inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications.
Ensure software licenses are up-to-date and compliant with licensing agreements.
Security and Data Protection:
Maintain accurate records of IT issues, resolutions, and maintenance procedures.
Document IT policies and procedures as necessary.
Commit to a programme of personal development within agreed areas.
Stay up-to-date with technology trends and advancements in the education sector.
Make recommendations for upgrades and improvements to the IT infrastructure.
Holder of recognised secondary education certification.
Poses the attitude and aptitude to excel within the role.
Proven experience working in IT support or a similar role.
Proven experience of using M365 within Education.
Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS environments.
Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.
Familiarity with network administration and security.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Adept at problem-solving and multitasking.

You will, under the supervision of the Digital Technology Manager, be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our IT infrastructure, as well as providing technical support to our staff and students.
