Location: This is currently a home-based role, but does require occasional travel and flexibility to attend in-person meetings

This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their People career. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, across a wide range of People activities while being supported by experienced People Advisors. You will learn on the job, develop your skills and gradually take on more responsibility.
Your contribution will be key to the effective operation of our People Directorate, ensuring our service runs smoothly and positively impacts the Trust.
Your time to be split between:
- Proactively engaging with Advisors to support casework administration and projects as required.
- Providing guidance and administrative support to Advisors and managers on People processes, policies and current employment law.
- Being a point of contact for all Central Team recruitment.
- Providing general administrative support to the People Team, including responding to employee enquiries, data entry and preparing reports
About You:
We are seeking a proactive and approachable individual, who is able to manage multiple priorities. This is a true generalist People position and will suit a strong customer focused individual, with excellent communication skills and who is comfortable with change and turning ideas into action.
Professional development is actively encouraged, with support available to undertake further qualification opportunities.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a People or administrative role (school or education setting experience desirable).
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, and our Trust’s values.
