Key Stage 1 Class Teacher (Full Time Maternity Cover for 1 Year) job summary

Westoning Lower School is a small school, rated Good by Ofsted (June 2024), in the rural Mid-Bedfordshire village of Westoning, which lies between Toddington and Flitwick. We are part of The Pyramid Schools Trust.

We cater for 3 to 9 year olds with one form per year group from Nursery class to Year 4. This allows us to really know our pupils. We are proud of our close links with the local community, particularly St. Mary Magdalene Church. A Values based education is followed by the whole school community which encourages every child to be a responsible, caring, hardworking and positive person.

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to work in our popular and successful school. You will become a member of a warm, friendly and supportive team who work well together to achieve the best outcomes for our children.

This is a temporary contract for one Year to cover Maternity Leave (Monday - Friday) starting in Autumn Term 2026. You will be teaching in our Year 2 class.
