Key Stage 1 Lead Teacher job summary

The Key Stage 1 Lead Teacher will lead on the improvement of teaching skills through modelling high-quality teaching, coaching and training other members of staff. They will work with zeal, drive and determination to secure the long-term success of the school, supporting and promoting the vision, values and ethos to pupils, staff, governors, parents and the wider community. They will demonstrate and support an ambitious vision for the school and strive for high expectations for every pupil by setting high standards and leading by example in all areas of work.

Castle Hills is a mixed Primary Academy for children aged 3-11 years old. We currently have 286 children on roll and provide Nursery provision to include 30 hours per week.

We are committed to providing a high quality education for pupils, regardless of ability, and we offer a wide range of learning experiences that will inspire, engage and motivate all learners, leading to success and achievement.

Castle Hills is situated 2 miles North of Doncaster with easy access from the A1 and A19.

As a school, we offer our own Breakfast Club facilities from 7:15am until 8:45am and Tea Timers from 3:15pm until 6pm. We offer an extensive range of enrichment activities including after school clubs.
