What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you a motivated, enthusiastic and inspirational Early Years teacher looking for a new challenge?

Based at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, this is a perfect opportunity for a teacher who exudes passion and enthusiasm for Early Years education, to work as part of our Federation Early Years Team. We have worked hard to grow our Nursery offer and we are looking to expand this even further. The TLR 3 is project based, for one year, to develop our newly established EYFS unit, and we would relish the opportunity to discuss these exciting changes with you in more detail.

Our school members and staff team have a strong sense of community, moral purpose and strive to foster good relationships with parents. Our school community works together as a team and is also committed to working collaboratively in partnership as a Federation and across our wider community. The Federation schools are small schools with a PAN of 20; the schools are a central part of the community. The schools are on a journey of improvement, and we are looking for an Early Years class teacher to support us in achieving the consistent and high-quality education we are striving for.

We have an experienced and supportive team.

We are seeking to appoint a teacher who:

  • Will be fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of our school
  • Is an excellent Early Years classroom practitioner
  • Has high expectations of pupil’s achievement and behaviour
  • Is well organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team
  • Is committed to raising standards and ensuring children meet their full potential
  • Will inspire children to enjoy learning by creating an engaging environment
  • Is flexible and adaptable

  • Effective, supportive and dedicated staff, governors and parents
  • Opportunities to grow professionally
  • Coaching and mentoring support from a member of our SLT
  • A close working relationship with parents and our local community
