What skills and experience we're looking for
We have the opportunity to restructure our teaching provision in Key Stage 2 and are looking for the right candidate to join our team. Strengh in STEM would be advantageous although not compulsory. Applications are welcome from experienced teachers as well as those new to the career.

What the school offers its staff
We are looking to appoint a creative and outstanding practitioner for either our Year 3/4 or Year 5/6 Class. Our class sizes are smaller than average which offers the opportunity to develop wonderful teaching relationships with the children and help to fully support and develop learning. This is a full time teaching position (4 days considered), on offer as a permanent contract from September 2026.
Heddington CE VA Primary School must be seen to be fully appreciated. We are an oversubscribed maintained school with 75 children on roll, working closely with the LA and local schools. Situated a couple of miles from Calne, we boast wonderful grounds and surrounding area. We are a caring and dedicated team who are committed to delivering a high standard of education, inclusivity and social development for all of our pupils within a supportive Christian environment. Everything we do is for the benefit of the children.
