Key Stage 2 Class Teacher job summary

Joseph Turner Primary School is eager to appoint a confident Key Stage 2 class teacher to start September 2019. The candidate should be passionate about making a difference to the lives of our pupils through outstanding teaching and learning.

Joseph Turner is a friendly community school with welcoming staff, who have our children at the heart of everything we do. You would work in a phase team, with a parallel class teachers and a phase leader. You will receive high quality professional development and day-to-day support from senior leaders. All of our Phase Leaders and Assistant Head were NQTs at Joseph Turner. As a whole school we continually work to develop pedagogy that inspires children to become lifelong learners. You will be responsible for ensuring good rates of pupil progress in your class as we strive to raise standards. We can offer very well behaved pupils who have extremely high expectations of their teachers and are eager to learn and proud to achieve.

Ofsted (May 2018) judged us as ‘Good’ in all areas. Our aim now is to be ‘Outstanding’.
