We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Kids Club Activity Leader to join the team at Cheadle Hulme Primary School. You will play a vital role in providing safe, fun, and educational experiences for primary school children. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to create a high-quality, child-focused play environment. This position will be based in our Kids Club which offers a safe and happy ‘home from home’ play based environment. We are seeking an individual who is available to work during Breakfast (7:30am-9am) and After School Club (3pm-6pm) hours.
We have multiple positions:
- Up to 22.5 hours per week available at Cheadle Hulme Primary School Term Time Only basis.
- Up to 13 hours per week available at Gorsey Bank Primary School Term Time Only basis.
Job Purpose
- Supervise children, organising/preparing appropriate play-based activities and ensuring the environment is left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of each session.
- Provide a high quality, child-centred play setting that meets the needs of all children and their families, including those with additional needs.
Key Skills & Experience
- Ability to support play activities that children enjoy
- Experience of working with children aged 4 –11 years would be an advantage
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
