Kitchen Assistant job summary
Furze Down is an outstanding special school on split sites in Winslow and Buckingham, which provides for 220 pupils with communication and interaction differences aged 4 to 19. We are incredibly proud of our school. Furze Down employs a dedicated multi-disciplinary team who ensure pupils, and their families, are at the heart of everything. We are seeking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant to join our in house Catering team.
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate:
- A willingness to contribute to the continued success of the school
- Previous experience of working within a catering environment
- A knowledge of health and safety and good hygiene practice in the kitchen ideally through the holding of a current Level 2 award in Food safety and Hygiene or a willingness to gain the award
