Kitchen Assistant - Level 2 job summary
The St Bart's Multi Academy Trust, in partnership with Governors, staff and children of Stoke Minster CofE Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our hard working and committed team.

Job Purpose
To undertake the preparation, cooking and service of food and beverages plus other related catering duties,as directed by the cook / chef.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and serve food and beverages, as directed
- Operate kitchen equipment, following training
- Follow food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen in accordance with health and safety, foodhygiene and COSHH regulations at all times
- Prepare and clear kitchen and dining areas
- Undertake cleaning and washing up as directed in the kitchen and dining areas
- Check delivery of food and other catering consumables from designated suppliers and beresponsible for refilling and replacing sauces, condiments and other consumables
- Allocate tasks and oversee work of kitchen assistants
- Assist in moving and setting up dining furniture
- Assist with delivering catering for functions
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within theacademy, raising any concerns following academy protocol/procedures
- Any other duties appropriate to the post.
