Kitchen Assistant job summary
30 Hours per week, Term Time only (plus training days)
NJC Scale Level 1D Point Range 2-3 starting point 2
Mon to Fri - 8am to 2.30pm
We are seeking a kitchen assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
The role will require you to exercise your professional catering skills in the preparation, serving and replenishment of food in our kitchen and serving hatches. You will also be responsible for operating a payment system and must adhere to health and safety as well as food hygiene regulations and standards. The role will also require you to clean and tidy the kitchen and dining areas, as required.
We have recently redecorated the canteen area and have invested in new ovens and equipment to support the kitchen in providing quality and fresh homemade meals.
