Kitchen Manager job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Kitchen Manager to oversee the smooth operation and management of the school's catering services. The Kitchen Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that high-quality, nutritious meals are provided for pupils and staff while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, safety, and efficiency in the kitchen. This role includes supervising kitchen staff, planning menus, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Joining us at this stage means you will be organizing and setting up from scratch with brand-new facilities and equipment.
The successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent organisational skills, the ability to work independently, and the capability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. You will need to be flexible in approach and be willing to participate in whole school activities - open days and community events for example.
