KS2/3 Teacher – Ideally with a specialism in Mathematics and/or English (For exceptional candidates, we would consider applications from those who are able to offer other specialisms).

Selwood Academy is seeking to appoint a highly skilled, innovative and dynamic teacher to support the school in its drive to enhance its support for young people in the recovery of their learning.

The successful candidate will bring strong curricular knowledge and a clear understanding about how to effectively assess pupils’ progress. Expectations will need to be high and behaviour management strategies positive, so that all children can experience success.
We require someone who:
• Can effectively plan, develop and evaluate high quality lessons and be able to lead the planning and delivery of small-group intervention sessions as and when appropriate
• Supports the schools vision and values
• Displays a clear vision and passion in their teaching and can motivate those around them.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills.
