Start date: 28th February 2022 for one year
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed, highly motivated Teacher. Mark First and Pre-school CE Academy is a thriving small rural village school which caters for children aged 2-9. We have an onsite separate Pre-school. We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring teacher to work full time and cover a Year 2/3 mixed class for a period of one year. As a member of the Wessex Learning Trust, we work collaboratively and believe in empowering our staff to grow and take the lead. Across all our schools, we work together, share staff – and share expertise. We are looking for a confident practitioner who will know how to both support and challenge our children and be aspirational for every individual.

Mark First and Pre-school CE Academy is situated on the Somerset Levels in the village of Mark , near Burnham-on-Sea. We offer an enriching education for children aged from 2 to 9 years of age.
Our school is a thriving part of the Cheddar Valley Partnership of Schools, which has a first, middle and upper school structure. The majority of our children transfer to Hugh Sexey Middle School at the end of Year 4.
