About this Role


We are looking for a passionate and dedicated classroom practitioner to join our team, motivating and inspiring pupils of all ability levels through engaging and innovative teaching. Working as part of an established and cohesive team, you will have an excellent understanding of the Early Years Framework and National Curriculum at Primary level. An ability to speak and teach French or German at KS1/KS2 is desirable.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Curriculum, Teaching & Learning

To plan and prepare an inclusive knowledge rich curriculum for pupils in line with the National Curriculum and school policy.

Participate in appropriate external and internal assessment and use formative and summative assessment to inform future planning

Identify and make provision for pupils with special needs in collaboration with the SENCo

Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation and challenging pupils and ensuring a high level of interest

To consistently plan and deliver good and outstanding lessons, ensuring that a variety of teaching resources are utilised

To work within and contribute to established school and department frameworks for lesson planning, delivery and evaluation

Analyse half termly assessment data to track attainment and progress but to also highlight any gaps which need to be addressed

Reporting

This role will report into the Assistant Headteacher
