If you're interested in teaching or training to teach in England as an international citizen, we can help you understand your next steps.

St. Thomas of Canterbury is a vibrant and diverse school community. Located close to Manchester City Centre and very convenient for city living.

Pupils thoroughly enjoy coming to school, working hard and achieving their very best. Behaviour and attitudes to learning are excellent. The happy and supportive staff team are second to none!

Are you up for a challenge? Do you want to make a real difference to the life chances of children? If you are ambitious, talented, and possess a real flair for teaching and learning, then this is the job for you! Many pupils at SToC present with barriers to learning so simply ‘delivering’ the curriculum is not enough to meet their needs. The staff build excellent relationships with the children and families, and the teachers are forensic in their formative assessment so the children receive what they actually need. Working here requires hard work and a real depth of thought, but it will allow you to develop into the best possible teacher!

To enrich our school community, we positively encourage applicants from black and ethnic minorities, all faiths, genders and socio-economic backgrounds to apply. Applications from ECTs are welcome.

Commitment to safeguarding
