St Matthew’s C of E Primary & Nursery Academy is seeking to appoint a KS1 Phase Lead to support the wider Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher who is ready to take the next step in their professional journey or for an existing leader who is excited about the challenge of a larger setting. This role will allow you to make a difference to the provision and development of four classes, one of which you will teach. If you are motivated about developing our curriculum, raising standards and providing stimulating learning experiences for young minds, we want to hear from you!
We have a strong track record of supporting our leaders to become the best that they can be with several moving on to become Assistant Heads and Deputy Heads within other Trust schools.
With support from our Assistant Headteacher, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the phase as well as having a role to play in shaping the strategic direction of Key Stage 1 in our school. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be able to use your strong pedagogy and philosophy for early education, along with your creative flare and zest for learning, to lead our team towards becoming a beacon of excellence.

The successful candidate will:
· Be a proven strong Key Stage 1 teacher who has a clear understanding of high-quality teaching, learning and curriculum.
