What skills and experience we're looking for
Experience
Experience of teaching in the required Key Stage
Experience of teaching across the whole primary stage
Skills, Attributes and Knowledge
Has understanding of classroom organisation and learning strategies.
Ability to deliver consistently good or better lessons.
Has understanding of monitoring, assessment, recording and reporting of pupils’ progress.
Ability to communicate orally and write to a high standard
Has understanding of equal opportunities and inclusion.
Can demonstrate effective teaching and learning styles.
Able to promote the schools’ aims positively and use effective strategies to monitor personal, social and emotional needs.
Able to develop good personal relationships within a team.
Able to establish and develop close relationships with parents, governors and the community.
Can communicate effectively to a variety of audiences.
Can create a happy, challenging and effective learning environment.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Able to develop strategies for creating community links.

Clenchwarton Primary School is a one form entry school with about 200 children split into seven classes. We believe all children in our school are entitled to a secure and happy environment, in which they are encouraged to become independent, considerate to others and to make the most of their abilities.
The children at Clenchwarton are well behaved, hardworking and report that they really enjoy coming to school. They also report how well cared for they feel by our wonderful team of teachers, teaching assistants and support staff, who are also well behaved and hardworking!
At Clenchwarton we believe we have a responsibility to provide our pupils with high quality teaching which enthuses and engages them in all subjects so that they reach the highest standards possible.
The school is well supported by dedicated staff, a strong governing body and an active PTA. The enthusiastic people in all of these groups, ensure that the school is involved in events in the wider community too. Pupils benefit from visiting theatre groups, storytellers, sports' coaches and artists.
We are part of the West Norfolk Academies Trust whose aim is to challenge and support a small group of schools to provide an excellent education for the young people of West Norfolk.
