What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will:

• Have high expectations for all children with an understanding of how to ensure excellent progress
• Have experience in successfully leading a subject area with whole school impact
• Have the ability to lead the KS1unit, promoting excellent teaching, learning and behaviour
• Lead and further develop our strong phonics practice
• Be willing to participate fully in the wider curricular life of the school
• Commitment and aspiration to excel professionally
• Have experience as a strong KS1 practitioner
