What skills and experience we're looking for
The person appointed will :
- Be a qualified teacher or hold an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Be committed to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment, underpinned by high expectations for behaviour, learning and personal development.
- Be aspirational and positive in their approach to removing the barriers which face young people
- Possess an impressive presence and be an excellent practitioner of working in KS2
- Show initiative and be self-motivated
- Have high expectations of what can be achieved
- Display a good sense of humour and play a role within the wider school community
