What skills and experience we're looking for

This is a unique opportunity to join our team and build upon our already impressive provision.

We are looking for a talented, knowledgeable and skilful KS2 teacher to build on the strong foundations our children have learned in KS1.

What type of person are we looking for?

  • You must have a warm and smiling face that makes children feel special
  • You have to laugh at jokes that don’t necessarily make sense or that are not funny
  • You must be prepared to get ‘stuck in’ and have lots of fun every day
  • You must be prepared to feel important, special and loved by many young children and their families

What the school offers its staff

Why choose TJLS?

  • Our school is a very special place and we are so proud of the curriculum experience we offer our children
  • We have a robust, progressive and sequenced curriculum in place that inspires our children to make excellent progress
  • You will receive fantastic professional development opportunities - and will be mentored and supported by our excellent senior leaders
  • We really go the extra mile for our children. Whether that be for the lessons in the classroom, the enrichment experiences we offer, or the ambition we have for each and every child
  • We are located in the beautiful rural village of Lidlington. Just 7 miles east of Milton Keynes and 7 miles south of Bedford - we are easy to reach geographically
