KS2 Primary to teach Maths, English or Science job summary
Are you looking to develop your career in a thriving, friendly and supportive standalone academy where staff welfare is a priority? Are you passionate about your students and committed to unlocking their potential in an academy that has high expectations of everyone?
The successful candidates will want to make a difference and will be required to deliver Maths, English or Science at the appropriate national curriculum levels to small, specialist classes. There will be an added opportunity to support these departments in raising the attainment for a wide range of students. This will be a rewarding role and a great opportunity to join growing, stable and enthusiastic teams.
Ofsted have acknowledged the many strengths of our Academy. We are a friendly and welcoming academy who will ensure that whatever your career stage, you will be supported by an inspirational and forward-thinking team to develop further knowledge and enhance your teaching tool kit. Four primary practitioners are already employed across the school, and we are keen to build on their outstanding work.
As a standalone academy, we believe in our teachers being able to do the role they are employed to do, which is to deliver engaging lessons to our students. We therefore have an easy and structured behaviour system for our students and you to follow in lessons. After this, we have dedicated teams who intervene and leave you to continue with the job you love doing!
We would be delighted to take you on a tour of the academy and give you the opportunity to meet the department and answer any questions you may have.
The successful applicant will be welcomed into an experienced team of professionals to:
- Progress the departments to even greater successes
- Plan and deliver high quality and engaging lessons that will challenge and inspire our students
- Encourage students to have high expectations of themselves and their behaviour
- Be a positive role model and supportive mentor to students, making a lasting impact on their lives
