What skills and experience we're looking for

Leominster Primary School is seeking to appoint an outstanding KS2 teacher. This post is full time permanent position starting in September 2025.

The ideal candidate will:

  • be a qualified teacher who can demonstrate a successful track record in facilitating academic development and a creative and engaging teaching style;
  • have the ability and experience of teaching KS2 groups;
  • have excellent classroom management skills;
  • be able to use their own initiative and work as part of a team;
  • be hard working, enthusiastic and dedicated.

Leominster Primary School is a three-form entry primary school with two nursery classes in the market town of Leominster in Herefordshire. We have 570 pupils on roll with a staffing complement of approximately 100. The school has two headteachers, who share responsibility for the school.

There are two specially resourced provision units on site. This provision is designated for a small number of pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs and pupils with autism

The school also provides before and after-school care on site.

Leominster Primary School has grown significantly in recent years and enjoys a very positive reputation in our area. OFSTED’s latest report affirms that ours is already a good and happy school with many impressive features. Our buildings and facilities are spacious and modern. Our children are a joy.
