What skills and experience we're looking for

Your day may include supporting individual and small groups of pupils with their learning, encouraging children who may be struggling with their reading, helping the teaching team to prepare resources for future lessons or listening to those who may need help to talk through their emotions. The role may include 1:1 and whole-class teaching assistant support. We have three simple rules in our school, ‘Safe, Ready, Respectful’. They are at the core of everything we do. We expect it of our staff and pupils and help us to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment for all.

Ideally you will:

  • Have enthusiasm for learning.
  • Act effectively as part of a team.

  • Be committed to ensuring the right of every child to be included, accepted, and valued for their strengths and contributions.
  • Have good interpersonal and organisational skills.
