What skills and experience we're looking for
Our very effective and supportive Governing body are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and caring Teaching and Learning Assistant, who is a conscientious and committed professional that believes all children can achieve high standards and therefore demonstrates consistently high expectations of all pupils in all aspects of school life. The post is to be based in KS2. The role will include supporting within classes and with small groups or individuals across KS2 but mainly Y5 and Y6 in relation to the needs of the classes. The successful candidate must have the ability to work in close partnership with class teachers in helping to ensure pupils make effective progress against age related expectations. Understanding of the KS2 curriculum, vocabulary and different approaches as well as a good understanding of Statutory assessments for KS2 pupils is essential.
