Lead Midday Meals Supervisor job summary
We have an opportunity to appoint an experienced Midday Meals Supervisor to lead the lunchtime provision at Westlands Primary School.
In addition to undertaking daily Midday Meals Supervisor duties themselves, the successful candidate will lead our established team of caring, patient and enthusiastic staff who supervise the children’s lunch and make playtime an exciting and enjoyable experience.
The Lead Midday Meals Supervisor will be responsible for:
- The effective supervision of the school’s pupils during the midday break in and about the premises.
- Allocating duties to Midday Meals Supervisors and overseeing them accordingly.
- Creating, planning and rolling out new and inspiring ideas to support lunchtimes.
- Organising cover for Midday Meals Supervisors who are absent.
- Meeting termly with a member of Senior Leadership to discuss the lunchtime provision.
- Being fully aware of and understanding the duties and responsibilities around child protection and safeguarding children.
