Lead Practitioner Mathematics - North East job summary
It is no exaggeration to say that an understanding of numbers is life-changing when taught inclusively and with ambition. This particular opportunity provides the chance for a brilliant mathematics educationalist to help shape and implement the mathematics and numeracy curriculum across three of our stand-out secondary academies in the North. It is a remit that will help advance the development of our curriculum and to establish a highly effective subject network and community for mathematics that will support and inspire our team of leaders and teachers in these schools and beyond.

Over the next 12 months we need to boost our capability in Mathematics with a Maths Lead across our Immingham, Lister Park and Wintringham Secondary academies. Communities that will welcome you with open arms and minds
- We need a successful innovator and manager of change and curriculum who has brought about new strategies and methods to impact attainment.
- You’ll have mastery of your subject as an excellent classroom practitioner and will have an ability to mentor and coach others to be as equally capable and inspiring.
- Underpinning your subject and leadership abilities will be a belief that young people can be successful with appropriate support to challenge barriers to learning. Which means you’ll be strong on behavioural management. emotionally resilient and able to demonstrate the values, purpose and ethos that makes Oasis unique.
