Lead Support Worker job summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join us in the newly created role of Lead Support Worker.

You will join our existing team of 3 Support Workers, working under the direction of the Director of Pastoral Care.

If you have experience of working with young people with additional needs, and a desire to empower them, we encourage you to apply.

The role is 35 hours per week, 8.30 am - 4.00 pm, term time only.

A sense of humour and a passion for working with neurodiverse young people is essential.

The Academy of Central Bedfordshire is one of the most successful Alternative Provision schools in the country and has the privilege to educate and support vulnerable young people from across Central Bedfordshire. This is a unique opportunity to work in a trauma informed environment, to provide meaningful education that enables each of our pupils to reach their potential. Ideally, you will have experience of working with young people with additional needs, although all relevant skills and experience will be considered.
