Are you a nurturing, patient and enthusiastic Learning Assistant with experience of supporting young children in an Early Years or nursery setting?
The Bishop Creighton Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust, is seeking a Learning Assistant (G3) to join our supportive and inclusive team. Experience of working within an Early Years or nursery environment is essential, and experience within enhanced or alternative provision would be highly valuable.

About the role
As a Learning Assistant, you will:
- Support learning across a range of classroom and structured activities
- Work with individuals and small groups to promote progress, independence and confidence
- Support pupils’ physical, emotional, social and educational development
- Assist with the preparation of resources and delivery of personalised learning support
- Build positive, consistent relationships with pupils and adults
- Promote a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
We are looking for someone who:
- Has essential experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting
- Has experience working in an enhanced or alternative provision, supporting pupils with additional needs
- Has a strong, sensitive and informed understanding of supporting young children who:
- Are autistic or have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC/ASD)
- Are neurodivergent, with a range of strengths and learning profiles
- Have speech, language and communication needs (SLCN)
- Can adapt support to meet individual needs in a calm, inclusive and respectful way
- Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths and a Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
