Learning Support Assistant job summary

A Learning Support Assistant is required to join our SEN team to provide in-class support, small group and on occasion one-to-one learning. This role will offer the successful candidate opportunities to support both the staff and students while challenging barriers to learning in order to maximise the achievement of each student. Experience of working with secondary aged children would be an advantage but is not essential however the successful candidate should have a good level of education as they may be required to work with students who are taking their GCSE's. This role requires a calm and professional yet approachable manner.

This position is 37 hours per week (the working pattern for this position is 8.15 – 4.15 Monday to Thursday, 3.45 on Fridays) and Term Time Only plus INSET Days.
