The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to work at St Anne’s Church Academy. This role will suit a candidate who has passion and enthusiasm for working with young children with additional needs.

We are a busy, friendly academy, with lots of lovely learning taking place and much to celebrate.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Work under the direction of the class teacher to ensure learning targets are achieved and the child is supported to achieve their best in the school environment.
  • Promote wellbeing by encouraging children to develop good relationships with others, develop their independence and self-esteem.
  • Support children to be successful in our school and beyond.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Some experience of working with children of Primary age, ideally in a school context.
  • A qualification in Literacy and Numeracy equivalent to GCSE Grade A*-C or Level 2, on the national vocational framework.
  • A passion and excitement for teaching and learning.
  • A willingness to learn new skills.

This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
