We are currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant who is as empathetic as they are driven. If you are a caring professional looking to make an impact in an exciting, evolving educational setting, we would love to hear from you.
As part of this role, you will:
- We are looking for the right candidate to join our inclusive school as soon as possible to work under the direction and supervision of a class teacher/senior member of staff, supporting some of our learners.
- You will play a crucial role in supporting the children’s learning in small group/individual situations.
- You will liaise with the class teacher and work as part of a strong team to provide a robust school experience for our children.
The successful candidates will need:
- A good standard of education/ three or more GCSEs including maths and English at Grade C minimum or L2 literacy and numeracy.
- Experience and/or knowledge of successfully supporting children.
- Creative and good at thinking ‘outside the box’.
- An ability to adapt and respond to the needs of the children.
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate with the year group team and parents and children, knowledge of phonics.
