Two Mile Ash School is proud to be part of the Inspiring Futures through Learning (IFtL) family of schools who inspire all of our futures through learning together. At IFtL we are never alone. We know we are stronger together – one united family striving for excellence for all, in everything we do.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join our thriving, successful and happy school. We are a large and over-subscribed junior school with an enthusiastic and vibrant teaching team who all firmly believe that every child should be inspired by a rich and varied curriculum.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be an integral part of the Pupil Support team and you will be responsible for assisting them to provide outstanding care and support for our SEND children.

You will be required to work under the guidance of the Pupil Support team, senior staff and teachers to support the learning and emotional needs of children with SEND.

The successful candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate a passion for enhancing the standards of learning and achievements for children with SEND, as well as being committed to pastoral care, collaborative team-work and flexible working. A ‘child-centred nurturing’ ethos is essential for this role.

We focus on establishing the highest standard of basic skills, whilst nurturing responsible citizens, successful learners and confident individuals. Children are at the heart of everything we do. Our vision is that every child is both challenged and inspired to achieve beyond their dreams.

We invest heavily in professional development to enable our staff to flourish, continually learn and develop. We offer a comprehensive training programme for our NQTs and all our staff benefit from professional development courses offered through the Trust in addition to bespoke in-house coaching and CPD opportunities.
