What skills and experience we're looking for
Good understanding of school policies and procedures and awareness of relevant legislation
Excellent literacy/numeracy skills
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedure
Knowledge of National Curriculum and other learning programmes/strategies
Understanding of principles of child, of child development and learning processes
Knowledge of SEND
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
Knowledge and understanding of how to motivate and engage children.
Support the Teacher in developing a high quality learning environment.
Ability to work with children to meet their individual targets
Ability to nuture positive relationships with and between children
Good organisational skills
Liaise and communicate effectively with others
