About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team. You will work in a team of experienced Learning Support Assistants under the direct supervision of the SENCO and Deputy SENCO. You will have experience of working with children requiring additional support needs in a school as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.
Normal working hours are 8.00am - 4.00pm. It is expected that you would be available to support certain meetings outside of these hours by agreement in advance for which time off in lieu will be accrued. There are also INSET training days and after school training (Monday and Thursdays every other week) throughout the academic year which you are expected to attend. Excellent communication skills both oral and written are an essential part of the role to be able to deal with staff, students, parents and external agencies.
