Working pattern

Part time: Part-Time, Mon - Fri, Term Time + 1 Week Learning Support Assistant (Level 3): 28.75 hours per week (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). Midday Supervisor: 2.5 hours per week.

What skills and experience we're looking for

  • A Level 3 qualification in Teaching and Learning (e.g., NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants) or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Experience in leading whole classes or delivering planned lessons independently to cover teacher non-contact time.

  • Confidence in managing classroom behaviour, maintaining routines, and supporting pupils across English, maths, and the broader curriculum.

  • Exceptional communication skills, flexibility, and a resilient, collaborative approach.

  • A commitment to the values, vision, and ethos of The District CE Primary School.
