Learning Support Assistant job summary
Are you passionate about education and looking for a fulfilling career?
We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant to join our community focused and supportive team at Lift Bexleyheath. We are a friendly and helpful team who are open to applicants with experience within any key stage group.
You're someone who'll be able to:
- Improve the learning and attainment of students while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
- Supervise classroom activities
- Support speech and language interventions
- Support students so that they can; access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement
- Be a warm and friendly face to students and parents
- Be flexible to work across any area of the school as required
You're someone who has
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification - advantageous if you have level 3.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or above)
- Experience supporting children in any Key Stage
- Knowledge of strategies to support pupils with SEND
- Understanding of child development and how children learn
- Positive behaviour management experience
- UK right to work - we are unable offer sponsorship for this position
