Learning Support Assistant job summary

Learning Support Assistant 30 hours per week Term Time Only plus One Week (Staff Training Days) Grade 3 £18,933 to £19,698 pro rata (Actual starting salary will be approx. £13,800 pa.) Parrs Wood High School is a thriving and popular secondary school in South Manchester with a richly diverse and truly comprehensive student body which has been judged by Ofsted to be good in all areas. Working within the Inclusion Faculty the successful candidate will join a team of Learning Support Assistants (LSA’s) to provide support to students who require help to overcome barriers to learning. The post holder will work with individual or small groups of students in various subject areas around the school. Parrs Wood High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS and other pre-employment checks.
