Parkwood E-ACT Academy is seeking a reliable and proactive Lettings Officer to oversee the day‑to‑day operation of our sports facilities during external lettings. The role includes working hours on Thursdays and Fridays, 5:00pm-10:30pm, and Saturdays, 8:00am-5:00pm, although hours may vary. Flexibility is essential, as you will be required to cover additional sessions during holidays and to support absence cover where needed.
You will be the main point of contact for hirers, ensuring facilities are opened, secured, and presented to a high standard, bookings run smoothly, and health and safety procedures are followed. This is an excellent opportunity to support community sport while playing a valued role within a thriving academy environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for external hirers and users
- Ensure bookings run smoothly and facilities are prepared to a high standard
- Monitor health, safety, and safeguarding procedures at all times
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and usage
- Support additional lettings during holidays and provide cover for staff absence as required
Pay range: Casual contract - SCP3 - £12.85 per hour - all year round
Qualifications and Skills:
- Good standard of literacy and numeracy
- Previous experience in lettings, facilities, customer service, or a similar role (desirable)
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage bookings independently
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures, or willingness to be trained
- Reliable, proactive, and able to respond calmly to issues or emergencies
