Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant job summary
Hall Green Infant School is looking for a full-time permanent Level 3 Teaching Assistant to start on or around 2nd March 2026.
Applicants should be experienced Early Years Teaching Assistants, who are committed, hardworking and enthusiastic, and flexible in their ability to support learning.
We can offer applicants a happy and welcoming school, friendly staff, a supportive leadership team and the opportunity to undergo professional development.
It is essential that you can demonstrate experience of:
- supporting children to achieve their best across the curriculum
- experience of working with Nursery and infant aged children
- engagement with young people to motivate them to learn
- working with children with SEND
- working on 1:1 or small group SEND interventions
- planning as part of a teaching team
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
We are looking for someone who:
- has an Early Years approved level 3 qualification
- has a good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
- has a nurturing, enthusiastic and proactive approach
- has the ability to support learning through play and structured activities
- is committed to Early Years/KS1 development
- is passionate about supporting children
