- Grade 4 SCP 12 – 17, £28,598 - £31,022 (This is the full-time salary. The actual salary will be paid pro rata to hours worked)
What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidates will:
NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience or willingness to work towards
Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to Level 2 of the National Qualification & Credit Framework
Completion of Department for Education Teacher Assistant Induction Programme (or to complete within first term)
Awareness of the requirements of children with specialeducationalneeds
Experience of working with learning resources and helping with their preparation to support learning programmes
Experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age to those in the school (including 2-year-old provision)
Communication skills to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers
Basic understanding of a child’s development and learning.
