What skills and experience we're looking for

The staff and Governing Board are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, highly motivated and hard-working School Sports Co-Ordinator to assist in the delivery of curriculum and after-school sports. With support, you will be responsible for teaching PE across the school and assist in the planning and delivery of our after-school sports programme.

You will join a supportive and hard-working team who are committed to developing and improving our current sports provision.

The successful, well-qualified candidate will:

  • possess excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • have experience and be suitably qualified to plan & teach a range of sports
  • have a passion for sport and be able to share this with our pupils
  • be willing to work in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • have high expectations of pupils achievement
  • have vision, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour
  • possess good communication skills
  • be a team player with a positive outlook
  • have the ability to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and governors
