Salary: £12,347 FTE (£10,715 pro rata) - Fixed term for 18 months

We are seeking to appoint a committed and talented Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join our team here at Nottingham Academy!

The ideal candidate will

  • Will form part of a small but experienced specialist team in a diverse and ever-changing environment.
  • Work closely with staff and outside agencies to ensure children at Nottingham Academy have excellent provision.
  • Promote self-esteem, confidence and help children to become emotionally healthy.
  • Have high expectations of themselves, striving for the best in everything they do.
  • Be an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious team player; open to learning and professional development.
  • Have a strong interest in working with a niche cohort of students with low communication and literacy levels.
  • Be keen to train to deliver reading recovery interventions.
