Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Pupil Learning Centre )
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled and proactive Level 3 Teaching Assistant with strong SEN and SEMH expertise to join our Pupil Learning Centre. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply committed to supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs, helping them develop emotionally, socially and academically.
As a valued member of our nurturing and highly supportive team, you will work closely with the Lead Teacher to deliver personalised learning support, targeted interventions and high‑quality pastoral care. You will play a vital role in creating a safe, inclusive and emotionally secure environment where every pupil feels understood, valued and able to make meaningful prog

You will be working 32.5 hours per week on a fixed term contract, across 39 weeks of the year—offering a great balance between work and personal life
In this role, you will:
- Support the delivery of personalised teaching and learning in line with pupil needs.
- Provide emotional literacy and wellbeing interventions as a trained Teaching Assistant
- Contribute to individual learning plans, behaviour support, and pastoral provision.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality, consistent practice.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to help them grow in confidence and resilience.
- Promote the school’s values and maintain high professional standards.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an effective, reflective practitioner with a passion for supporting pupils with additional or SEMH needs.
- Has excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Is motivated, flexible and able to inspire and challenge pupils.
- Has experience in EYFS or early years environments (desirable).
- Holds a Level 3 TA qualification and SEN training.
