Lotus School is part of the Champion Education Trust which is a multi-academy trust which champions the disadvantages and vulnerable to help break down barriers and allow students to reach their full potential. As well as Lotus school, the Trust has two other schools, Blackburn Central High School and Crosshill School. Both were both graded 'Good' in their latest OFSTED inspections and both are oversubscribed.
The Champion Education Trust are passionate about all students achieving highly and going beyond what others thought possible, regardless of background, need or prior attainment, in a culture of high expectations and support. Although in the formative stages of setting up, this is an exciting time to join a developing Trust whose ethos and values are to support students to be “the best that they can be.”
