The role:

Can your creativity and enthusiasm drive our Resource Centre to the next level? As Librarian/Resource Centre Co-Ordinator, you will lead the management of the Library and Resource Centre, maintaining a positive and respectful learning environment while encouraging a culture of reading across the school. You will work collaboratively with staff to support literacy development through targeted reading interventions, organize engaging reading initiatives, and provide general administrative assistance as required.

  • Very organised and has good time management;
  • Keen to help young people;
  • A good communicator, verbally and in writing;
  • Capable on a computer and willing to learn how to use new software and electronic tools;

  • Creative in encouraging pupils to become lifelong readers;
  • Eager to collaborate with other resource centre managers across our schools in the trust.
