Working with our Literacy Team, the role will encompass reading and literacy with specific focus on comprehension and fluency, as well as wider library duties. The successful candidate will:

  • Offer HLTA accredited status or QTS or be willing to work towards this.
  • Be committed to raising the profile of reading in school and maximising opportunities to read for all learners.
  • Have worked with children of relevant age.
  • Have experience of working alongside staff to plan, resource and deliver high quality strategy interventions.
  • Have a good understanding of child development and learning processes.
  • Have good use of ICT to support learning.
  • Enjoy reading and be able to offer/ open to developing library management skills.
